The MOA was entered into by and between the Provincial Government of Occidental Mindoro, represented by Governor Eduardo B. Gadiano assisted by Vice Governor Diana Credo Apigo – Tayag, and the Asian Pyrochem Technologies, Inc., represented by its Chairman and CEO Harley Luis Leaño.

The Indonesian team who signed the MOA was headed by H.E. Agus Widjojo, Indonesian Ambassador, who was represented by Indonesia’s Deputy Chief of Mission Dodo Sudradjat. In his messsage, H.E. Sudradjat said, “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘔𝘖𝘜 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘻𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘈𝘴𝘪𝘢.”

The signing took place at the Plenary Hall immediately after the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, presided by Vice-Governor Diana Credo Apigo – Tayag, approved a resolution authorizing the Governor to enter into the said MOA representing the PGOM.

The PGOM, in its diligent pursuit for a solution to the power problem in the province, through the leadership of Governor Gadiano, Vice Governor Diana Apigo Tayag and the Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, will continue searching without let-up until it finds permanent solution to the long-time power problem and until the people are assured of the low-cost and non-stop supply of electricity throughout the province.
